S.C.A.R.E., Inc. assists in the investigation of equine abuse and/or neglect cases in South Carolina and will provide responsible foster / adoptive homes and quality rehabilitative care for equines in need. |

Hunter Jumper Association The South Carolina Hunter and Jumper Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to maintain accurate records for its membership, establish fair rules for horse shows, memberships, judges and stewards, and create a yearly calendar for horse shows. The Association is governed by a Board of Directors with four officers and an Executive Secretary. The Association sponsors an "A" rated horse show in the spring, the South Carolina Governor’s Cup Finals in the Fall and the Palmetto Medal Finals at the end of the horse show year. The South Carolina Hunter and Jumper Association also hosts an annual awards banquet where both riders and horses are recognized for their achievements during the past year. |

Horse Association The South Carolina Walking Horse Association (SCWHA) is incorporated as a nonprofit organization for the purpose of promoting and exhibiting the Tennessee Walking Horse. The SCWHA sponsors shows and events thoughout South Carolina. Proceeds from our shows have provided hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities alll over our state. It has allowed us the ability to invest in our future by providing scholarship opportunites. We continue to work diligently to promote the positive image of the Tennessee Walking Horse. Saddle Club Our Saddle Club is primarily a trail riding social club comprised of a group of horse owners who love to trail ride. We are located in the area surrounding Charleston, SC. Mullet Hall Equestrian Center on Johns Island is our adopted "home base" where you can find at least some of our members riding on the trails just about every weekend of the year. We like to get together to camp, eat and ride the trails whether it's local or out of town. We have lots of family oriented fun. The Club also hosts the Extreme Trail Competition once a year at Mullet Hall. We also put on at least one fund raiser a year, usually a poker run or trail ride to which the general public is invited. |

Eastern Solid Paint Bred Council The Eastern Solid Paint Bred Council will be dedicated to serving those with Solid Paint Breeding Stock Horse in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and surrounding areas of the East Coast. The sole purpose of the Eastern Solid Paint Bred Council is to promote the category of Solid Paint Breeding Stock Horses and to make a market for these horses in this area. As many for you know, the horse market is currently in a rut. Quite a few people are breeding fewer mares and getting lower numbers of future prospects. Those that are breeding are having quite a time trying to make a market for these horses, especially the Solid Breeding Stock Horses that are born. |

Carolina Arabian Horse Association The Western Carolina Arabian Horse Association currently offers 2 levels of memberships. The Adult or Junior Memberships include an affiliate membership with the Arabian Horse Association. The adult membership is a voting membership and the number of voting delegates the club receives at the Regional and National level is based on the number of adult members. A membership with AHA is required for both the owner and rider/handler at any AHA sanctioned show (direct membership to AHA is more expensive than joining WCAHA as an affiliate member and does not include voting privileges). WCAHA memberships also include a subscription to the Arabian News |
